Every pandit on Shrisewa passes a six-step verification process before their first booking goes live — and is continuously monitored afterwards.
The six-step process
Each step is mandatory. No shortcut onboarding, regardless of reputation or referrals.
Application & lineage documents
Candidates submit their training lineage, gurukul or vidyapeeth affiliation, and years of active practice. Each document is cross-referenced with the issuing institution.
Pandit knowledge assessment
A senior pandit on our review board conducts a recorded oral assessment covering mantra pronunciation, vidhi sequence, and sankalp recitation for the puja categories the candidate wishes to perform.
Test ceremony recording
The candidate performs a full test ceremony at their associated temple. Our team reviews the recording for ritual completeness, correct pronunciation, and professional conduct.
Temple affiliation confirmation
We contact the temple management directly to confirm the pandit's active affiliation, good standing, and permission to perform ceremonies on behalf of Shrisewa devotees.
Background check
Identity documents are verified. Any prior complaints or disqualifications in our network are flagged. The application moves forward only on a clean record.
Ongoing monitoring & ratings
After onboarding, every puja is rated by the devotee. Pandits who fall below our threshold are put on review hold and must complete additional assessment before resuming.
Backed by guarantees
Verification is just the start. These guarantees cover every ceremony.
Mispronunciation guarantee
If your name or gotra is mispronounced and not corrected during the ceremony, we arrange a complimentary re-performance.
Identity on-camera guarantee
The pandit's face and the temple signage must both be visible in the recording. If not, the booking is refunded.
Right-pandit guarantee
The pandit performing your puja will match the category and tradition you booked. Substitutions require your explicit approval.
