About Shri Radha Damodar Mandir (Vrindavan)

Established in 1542 CE by Srila Jiva Goswami. The central deity was hand-carved out of sacred stone by Srila Rupa Goswami. It houses the legendary Giriraj Charan Shila, gifted directly by Lord Krishna to saint Sanatana Goswami in his old age, bearing impressions of Krishna's foot, a flute, a herding stick, and a cow's hoof.
