What happens during the puja
Special Rituals Shodashopachara Pujan of Maa Bhagavati: The holy invocation and Shodashopachara (sixteen-step) worship of Maa Mahagauri will be performed using the sixteen special ritual materials prescribed in the scriptures, accompanied by the chanting of Vedic mantras. Recitation of the Complete Durga Saptashati: To seek the blessings of the Mother of the Universe, a highly auspicious recitation of all 13 chapters of the Durga Saptashati will be performed with Samput (specialized mantra insertions). This ritual is known to dispel all troubles and bestow happiness and prosperity. Shringar, Bhog, and Special Hawan: A divine and grand Shringar (sacred attire and jewelry) will be offered to Mata Rani, followed by an offering of Chhappan Bhog (56 varieties of traditional food). Concluding the rituals, a special Mahahawan (grand fire ritual) will be performed to invoke all forms of happiness and well-being.
